This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms Friday into Friday night.
Thunderstorms are also possible at times Sunday through Tuesday.
 
Heavy rain may accompany the showers and storms at times Thursday
night through Sunday. The greatest risk is Thursday night into
Friday, especially over the Cumberland drainage basin. This will be
due to the remnants of tropical system Helene moving north over
Kentucky. Helene could also bring winds gusts above 40 mph near the
Virginia border Thursday night into Friday morning.

Spotter are requested to report any occurrences of flooding.
