...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM EDT SUNDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Pennsylvania, including the
following counties, Allegheny, north central Washington and
northwestern Westmoreland.
* WHEN...Until 1215 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1137 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms was tapering off across the region. Minor
flooding is already occurring in the advisory area due to
runoff from the recent rain. Between 0.5 and 1.2 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross
Township, McCandless Township, Monroeville, Moon Township,
Franklin Park, Shaler Township, Plum, West Mifflin, North
Side Pittsburgh, Baldwin, Upper St. Clair, Hampton Township,
Scott Township, Wilkinsburg, Whitehall and South Park
Township.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
