...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF WESTERN HARRISON AND
HANCOCK COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM CDT
...

At 559 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Lyman to 6 miles northwest
of Kiln. Movement was south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gulfport, Long Beach, Bay St. Louis, Waveland, Diamondhead, Kiln,
Lyman, Shoreline Park, Stennis Space Center, Saucier, and Gulfport
Airport.

This includes Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 8 and
36.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
