Aside from the potential for a little fog to develop tonight, not
much going on in the forecast. Aloft troughing continues to move off
to the east while ridging dominates and expands out west this
weekend. At the sfc high pressure dominates while a tropical
system (expected to become a hurricane) makes its way up through
western Florida. This will be the story for most of the week
with rising heights bringing back hot temperatures especially
Monday and Tuesday with highs into the mid to upper 90s and
continued dry weather. With dewpoints in the lower 70s this will
lead to heat indices of 100 to 105 (some locally higher). Later
in the week (possibly overnight Tuesday or Wednesday morning) a
weak, moisture starved, front moves through bringing back more
seasonable temps to finish out the week.
