...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT THIS 
EVENING FOR SOUTHEASTERN FRANKLIN, NORTHWESTERN GALLATIN, SALINE AND 
NORTHEASTERN WILLIAMSON COUNTIES...

At 931 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms 
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches 
of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 
1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in 
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Marion, Harrisburg, West Frankfort, Eldorado, Shawneetown, 
  Galatia, Ridgway, Equality, Pittsburg, Thompsonville, Carrier 
  Mills, Raleigh, Omaha, Junction and Muddy.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  North Fork Saline River, Brushy Creek, Cane Creek, Crab Orchard 
  Creek, Middle Fork Saline River, Ewing Creek, Eagle Creek, Bear 
  Creek, Cockerel Branch, Bankston Fork, Brier Creek, Rocky Branch, 
  Rector Creek, Saline River, Gassaway Branch, Long Branch, Stevens 
  Creek, Middle Fork Big Muddy River, Horseshoe Creek, Little Wabash 
  River, South Fork Saline River, Ohio River, Pankey Branch and Lake 
  Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
