...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT
FOR WORCESTER...SOUTHEASTERN HAMPSHIRE...EASTERN FRANKLIN AND EAST
CENTRAL HAMPDEN COUNTIES...

At 545 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Templeton to Hardwick to Hampden, moving east at
45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Worcester, Springfield, Chicopee, Leominster, Fitchburg, Holyoke,
Amherst, Orange, Ludlow, Gardner, South Hadley, Holden, Southbridge,
Auburn, Belchertown, Wilbraham, Oxford, Charlton, Palmer, and
Spencer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
