.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGE 1)
Blocky pattern will remain in place across North America through the
weekend with mid level ridge slowly expanding north northeast.
Surface high over the upper Great Lakes will shift eastward. This
will keep low level winds with a dry easterly component. Will
continue to see very few clouds, with long periods of clear sky.
Temperature forecast is near persistence until Sunday when readings
will warm a bit.
Blocking will break down early next week with a short wave moving
across the region Tuesday into Wednesday. This should lead to a cold
frontal passage, although at this stage the front looks like it will
be moisture starved.
&&
.AVIATION /14Z THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY/...

beginning of the TAF period. Otherwise, VFR with clear skies. North
northeast winds will persist and remain below 10 kt. Fog will be
