Blackwater River Near Baker affecting Okaloosa, Covington, Escambia
and Santa Rosa Counties.
For the Blackwater River...including Baker, Upper Blackwater River...
Minor flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Blackwater River near Baker.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Minor flooding of secondary roads and
lowlands from the Highway 4 Bridge downstream. At 14.5 feet,
Flooding of Cotton Bridge Park in Baker begins. At 9.5 feet,
Kennedy and Peaden Bridges are flooded upstream of Highway 4
bridge.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
afternoon to a crest of 14.1 feet tomorrow morning. It will then
fall below flood stage early Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
