...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...
Wabash River at Montezuma.
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Tippecanoe River near Delphi.
Wabash River at Lafayette.
.Flooding conditions continue to be a concern for areas of the
Tippecanoe and Upper Wabash River after dealing with heavy rain from
remnants of Hurricane Beryl and subsequent rounds of precipitation
with more rain on the way.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Stay tuned to further developments by listening to your local radio,
television, or NOAA Weather Radio for further information.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.
* WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands along
the right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of
Montezuma begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 14.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 AM EDT Sunday was 16.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage this
afternoon to 10.6 feet early Tuesday morning. It will then
rise above flood stage Wednesday morning to 15.2 feet
Thursday morning. It will fall below flood stage again early
Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Low agricultural lands, river parks and a
few local roads flood along the Tippecanoe River. Oakdale Public
Access Site flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 6.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 8.9 feet early Tuesday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

early Tuesday morning to a crest of 13.1 feet Tuesday
evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday
