[Delayed Report] 1 SSE Yorktown [Delaware Co, IN] Broadcast Media reports Flash Flood at 14 Aug, 10:00 AM EDT -- *** 1 FATAL *** A 58-year old woman and her dog perished as she apparently drove into flood waters late Thursday or early Friday. Her vehicle was in a cornfield about 100 feet west of the road...and her body was found 50 feet away from the vehicle. Investigators believe she tried to get out of the car once it was in the field but was overcome by the water. Time is a very rough approximation.
