The National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh PA will conduct
a storm survey around 10am for the area near Raccoon Creek State
Park in Beaver County Pennsylvania. The survey is in relation to
the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on August
2nd, 2026.
A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by 4pm.
The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/pittsburgh
