...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHERN FOUNTAIN...PARKE AND EASTERN VERMILLION COUNTIES...
At 948 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
Newport, or 21 miles southwest of Crawfordsville, moving south at 35
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Clinton, Rockville, Newport, Fairview Park, Montezuma, Hillsboro,
Kingman, Mecca, Bloomingdale, Marshall, Wallace, Lodi, Turkey Run
State Park, Yeddo, and Judson.
This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 6 and 7.
