...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 AM EDT TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following county, in central Ohio, Fairfield.
* WHEN...Until 1245 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 931 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches
are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Baltimore, Buckeye Lake, Millersport, Pleasantville,
Fairfield Beach, Thurston, Carroll, Rushville, West Rushville
and Dumontville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
To report flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and submit
your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
