Northerly surface winds will help to advect cooler air intothe area. As a result, Monday morning will be quite cool with lowsin the upper 30s and low 40s. Temperatures will be a few degreescooler in the Pearl River and Pascagoula drainage basins as well.Lows on Tuesday morning will be in the low to mid 40s for most ofthe area. before a rapid warm up later in the workweek. MSW &&.LONG TERM...(Tuesday night through Saturday night)Issued at 1107 PM CDT Sat Nov 1 2025Tuesday through the weekend, conditions will be warming up quitequickly as southerly flow resumes and high pressure builds over the area. Lows will rise from the mid 40s on Wednesday morning to the mid 50s by Friday morning. Highs will be in the upper 70s for the remainder of the workweek, as well. As we move toward theweekend, the chances for fog will increase thanks to increasedsoutherly return flow adding moisture to the area. Generally,expect a dry and warming week ahead once we get past Tuesday. At KHUM,TEMP groups are in effect for temporary lowering of ceilings andvisibility to MVFR conditions late this evening for a few hours.MSW&&.MARINE...Issued at 1107 PM CDT Sat Nov 1 2025A disturbance aloft across the Southern Plains will move through the coastal waters overnight tonight. Showers with perhaps a few embedded thunderstorms will be possible, especially across the offshore waters. Winds will increase in response to this disturbance and may approach caution criteria by the early Sunday morning hours across the offshore waters. The more pronounced gradient increase will occur during the day on Sunday with SCA conditions expected by 01-03Z Monday, especially across the offshore waters and the MS Sound. Winds and seas will remain elevated through Monday as high pressure counties to build into the waters along with persistent CAA. Winds and seas will then begin to subside by Monday night into Tuesday as the center of high pressure approaches thew waters.
