Nancy Payne is Canada's 2025 National Silver Cross Mother, representing all families who have lost sons and daughters to war. She tells CBC News chief correspondent Adrienne Arsenault about her son Cpl. Randy Joseph Payne who died serving in Afghanistan and the phone call she says she’ll never forget.
