.KEY MESSAGES...
- A little frost on the pumpkin will be possible tonight in the
valleys of southeast Missouri.
- Below normal temperatures will continue through Monday with
the coolest air expected over the weekend. Rain chances have
trended upwards for Saturday.
- South winds return next week, and temperatures will climb back
above normal for Wednesday and possibly next Thursday.

The rest of an upper trough that has had the region socked in
with clouds and drizzle has departed the region today. Left
behind is a cool air mass with a moderate northwest breeze.
Winds should ease up tonight leading to a chilly evening with
lows in the upper 30s and patchy frost.
Another large upper level disturbance swings through Saturday.
Rain chances pick up, with a pretty sharp swing upward from
relatively dry conditions in previous forecasts. Moisture return
will be limited so amounts should be modest and thunder chances
look slim. A large high pressure system then looks to dominate
conditions for the remainder of the forecast period with dry and
mild conditions forecast.

VFR conditions through this TAF period. Light winds overnight
will become WNW around 6-9 kts on Friday. Guidance is hinting at
the possibility of some gusts to around 15 kts may occur around
EVV/KOWB areas tomorrow. Mainly clear skies are expected
through the day, before increasing mid and high clouds occurs
from the west in the evening.
