KALB COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM EDT...
At 422 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Kendallville, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Auburn, Kendallville, Garrett, Avilla, Waterloo, Hamilton, Rome City,
St. Joe, Swan, Concord, Ashley, Corunna, Altona, Butler Center,
Lisbon, Fairfield Center, Saint Johns, Moore, and Sedan.
This includes Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 325 and
339.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
