This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Widespread rain and storms are expected today, with lower rain
chances overnight. A Flood Watch is in effect through this evening
for portions of south central and southeast Kentucky. While most
areas should receive one half to one inch of rainfall, locations
affected by the most persistent showers and thunderstorms could
receive upwards of 3 inches of rainfall.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Scattered showers and storms are expected again on Thursday across
eastern Kentucky. Heavy rainfall leading to isolated flash flooding
is also possible. A few areas in extreme eastern Kentucky may be
affected by storms on Friday and Saturday afternoons, and again on
Monday, with rain and storms chances becoming more prevalent on
Tuesday.

Spotter activation may be needed should flooding occur.
