- Locally dense fog is possible early this morning.
- Dry conditions are forecast through this weekend, with a
small (15-20%) chance of thunderstorms forecast Monday.
- Temperature and humidity levels will remain close to seasonal
averages through the forecast period.

A weak upper low remains centered east of the region. Watching
for fog in the near term with light winds and clear skies. Hot
and dry weather is forecast today. The upper low to our east
meanders and weakens over the next few days producing similar
conditions through Friday.
Saturday a large deep layer cyclone over south central Canada
starts to have more of an influence on our synoptic scale
weather getting a southeast breeze going with return flow
leading to higher dewpoints. Rain chances start to work upwards
early next week in the form of afternoon showers and storms.
The jet stays fairly far north through the forecast period but
there is some hint of a front/shortwave influencing our weather
by Tuesday. Temperatures should remain seasonable with humid
conditions.

Fog potential is the primary concern for the 06Z TAFs. Guidance
in general has become less bullish for fog, and also for lower
ceilings after daybreak. IFR fog was mentioned at PAH, where it
is already MVFR, and KCGI. Elsewhere, MVFR should suffice. We
cannot rule out lower conditions, especially at KMVN, but
confidence is too low to go there at this time.
