* At 349 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms was located along
a line extending from 16 nm northwest of Mississippi Sound to 6 nm
east of Ship Island to 14 nm south of Horn Island to 13 nm south of
Farewell Buoy, moving south at 10 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include...
Mississippi Sound and Ship Island.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
