The National Weather Service in Louisville has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  West Central Clark County in south central Indiana...
  Southwestern Scott County in south central Indiana...
  Southern Washington County in south central Indiana...

* Until 1115 PM EDT.

* At 901 PM EDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain in New Pekin, Indiana. Between 2.5 and 4 
  inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 
  inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already 
  occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Salem, Blue River, New Pekin, Borden, Livonia, Farabee, 
  Harristown, Shorts Corner, Canton and South Boston.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
