SOUTHEASTERN SENECA AND NORTHEASTERN CRAWFORD COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM
EDT...
At 427 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
New Washington, or 11 miles northeast of Bucyrus, moving north at 20
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Willard, New Washington, Chatfield, Attica, North Fairfield, Tiro,
and Sulpher Springs.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
