- Cool and unsettled this weekend. Highs below average through
Monday.
- Conditions temporarily dry out early next week before
additional rain chances return mid week and potentially linger
through late week.

Aloft an omega block pattern will control our weather the next
couple of days. As the low spins overhead and slowly drifts to the
northeast our precipitation chances shift to the northeast as well.
This afternoon's shower chances are primarily across the northeast
portions of the area along with Monday's chances. Temperatures will
continue to be well below average through Monday then back to
seasonable through next weekend (in the 70s).
Ridging moves overhead briefly on Tuesday allowing for a brief
respite from the rain. Another low pressure system then approaches
from the west Wednesday and brings back PoPs as early as Tuesday
night. This system slowly moves south toward the Gulf over several
days. This means that there continues to be daily chances for
showers and thunderstorms through the end of the week.

Showers will continue to affect most of the terminals again
today but will gradually shift northeast. Cigs will remain low
at MVFR and IFR throughout the day with the exception of CGI
which could see some improvement. Winds will be gusty at CGI but
otherwise the other terminals will see steady northwest winds
today.
