FOR EAST CENTRAL ARMSTRONG, NORTH CENTRAL INDIANA AND SOUTHWESTERN
JEFFERSON PA COUNTIES...
At 554 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles south of
New Bethlehem, or 13 miles east of Kittanning, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Rural Valley, Dayton, Marion Center, Plumville, Timblin, Atwood,
Smicksburg, Mahoning Creek Lake and Distant.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
