Louisiana...Mississippi...Arkansas...
Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Madison, Tensas,
Jefferson, Claiborne and Warren Counties.
Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Adams, Concordia and
Wilkinson Counties.
Mississippi River Near Greenville affecting Washington, East
Carroll, Issaquena and Chicot Counties.
Mississippi River Near Arkansas City affecting Desha, Washington,
Bolivar and Chicot Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 49.5
feet Monday morning.

underwater. Residents will have to boat into their homes.

- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 56.0
feet Tuesday morning.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Mississippi River near Greenville.
* WHEN...Until Monday, May 05.
* IMPACTS...At 55.0 feet, Practically all areas between the levees
are flooded. Approximately 50 buildings have water inside them.
Water enters Farmers Grain terminal building north of the
Greenville bridge. Electric power is turned off to north and south
Lake Ferguson Road and Hillman-Logan Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 54.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 54.8
feet just after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
