Now Through Tuesday night...
High pressure over the eastern Gulf and western Atlantic will be
suppressed southward tonight into Tuesday as a shortwave moves
across the upper midwest. This will send a weak front southward
through the area Tuesday morning. No precip is expected along the
boundary due to the lack of significant moisture return. A cooler
airmass moves in behind the front for Tuesday night. Lows tonight
will be in the upper 50s and low 60s. Highs on Tuesday will be in
the low 70s inland to upper 70s to near 80 south of I-10. Lows
Tuesday night fall into the low 40s inland to near 50 along the
coast. /13
Wednesday Through Monday...
Northwesterly flow aloft will be in place midweek as an upper-
level trough over the eastern US slowly slides into the western
Atlantic. Upper ridging builds in by Friday and lingers into the
weekend. At the surface, high pressure will move overhead on
Wednesday and will anchor itself off the western Atlantic through
the remainder of the period. With deep layer ridging in place, no
rain is expected through the remainder of the week and into the
weekend. Rain chances begin to increase by Monday as ridging
breaks down and the next system approaches the local area from the
west.
As high pressure shifts to our east and the upper ridge builds in
overhead, temperatures will be on the increase through the week.
Highs on Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 70s, with lows
Wednesday night dropping into the upper 40s to low 50s. By Friday
and into the weekend, highs will top out in the mid to upper 80s
(low 80s along the coast), and lows will only drop into the 60s.

VFR conditions will mostly prevail outside of IFR visibility across
portions of south central Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle
late tonight due to patchy fog, and a brief period of MVFR ceilings
inland areas late into into Tuesday morning along a weak frontal

A light southerly flow is expected through tonight. A light to
moderate northerly flow develops through the day on Tuesday behind
a cold front. Onshore flow returns Wednesday night through the
