...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT EARLY THIS 
MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, south central, and southeast 
  Kentucky, including the following counties, in east central 
  Kentucky, Estill. In south central Kentucky, Laurel. In southeast 
  Kentucky, Clay, Jackson, Lee and Owsley.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 549 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that moderate rain
    continues to fall across the area. Rainfall amounts have
    ranged from 2 to 2.5 inches since Saturday morning. Up to an
    additional half inch of rain is expected to fall through 6
    am. Excessive runoff will lead to minor flooding of small
    creeks and streams, roads, and roadside culverts.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Beattyville, McKee, Booneville, Fincastle, Sturgeon,
    Travellers Rest, Green Hall, Endee, Vincent, Elian, Wild Dog,
    Delvinta, Island City, Earnestville, Blake, Nathanton,
    Scoville, Banford, Mummie and Levi.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
