.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 153 AM CST Sat Feb 8 2025

More rain is possible today as a sfc low tracks through the area.
This morning a warm front is lifting north through the area and will
bring us mild temperatures today in the 50s and 60s. The low then
tracks through the area and drags a cold front with it bringing our
temperatures down into the upper 20s to lower 30s tonight.

Expect dry conditions Sunday through Monday then the focus shifts to
two systems coming through early and mid week. The first system is
Monday evening through Tuesday evening. Low temperatures Monday
night are split across the area with below freezing temperatures
generally along and north of the Ohio river. These areas could see a
wintry mix with the potential for some accumulating snow.
Temperatures on Tuesday looks to be warm enough that impacts may be
minimal.

The second system comes through Wednesday through Wednesday night
again with the possibility of a wintry mix. Though temperatures are
colder Wednesday night, so impacts may be greater.

Expect dry conditions again on Thursday and Friday. Temperatures
then begin to warm and moderate on Friday and Saturday. Another
system looks to come through Friday night through Saturday as
rain.

.AVIATION /18Z TAFS THROUGH 18Z SUNDAY/...
Issued at 1129 AM CST Sat Feb 8 2025

Tricky forecast for the first 6-12 hours of the forecast, as
MVFR/IFR cigs and vsbys associated with a warm front will be
gradually swept away by a cold front tonight. Expect plentiful
light rain and drizzle before the cold front passage, with S-SW
winds of 10-15 kts with gusts to around 20 kts. Winds will
become NW at similar speeds tonight following the frontal
passage. Cigs will gradually lift to VFR at CGI and PAH, while
MVFR cigs will linger into Sunday morning at MVN, EVV, and OWB.
