...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the
following counties, Butler, Logan, Simpson and Warren.
* WHEN...Until 100 AM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 926 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bowling Green, Russellville, Anderson, Franklin, Auburn,
Adairville, Lewisburg, Woodburn, Dennis and Chandlers Chapel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
