At 446 PM EST, an area of heavy snow was located 7 miles east of
Seymour, moving east at 40 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this area of heavy snow.
Locations impacted include...
Seymour, North Vernon, Vernon, Hayden, and Paris Crossing.
This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 42 and 54.
Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this area of heavy snow.
Icy roads are possible as the snow melts on the roads then quickly
refreezes.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
