...SNOW SHOWERS WILL AFFECT PORTIONS OF THE AREA...

At 515 PM EST, scattered snow showers were located along a line 
extending from 6 miles west of Punxsutawney to 8 miles northeast of 
Minerva. Movement was east at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with these snow showers, 
along with reduced visibility. 

Locations impacted include...
Cranberry, New Castle, Butler, Salem, Beaver Falls, Columbiana,
Punxsutawney, East Palestine, Kittanning, Rimersburg, Ellwood City,
Homeacre-Lyndora, New Brighton, Shanor-Northvue, Calcutta, Meridian,
Zelienople, Minerva, Ohioville, and Ford City.

This includes the following highways...
  Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 1 and 25.
  Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 82 and 104.
  Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 16 and 35.

Icy roads are possible as the snow melts on the roads then quickly
refreezes.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
