* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
between 6 and 13 inches.
* WHERE...Cuyahoga and Geauga Counties.
* WHEN...From noon Sunday to 7 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make
travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel could
be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the
Monday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snowfall totals will be near the
Cleveland Metro and east with a strong gradient tapering south and
west across Cuyahoga County. Only 1 to 3 inches is possible across
the southern and western portion of Cuyahoga County. Across Geauga
County, the highest snowfall totals expected in the northern half
of the county with 1 to 4 inches possible in the southern portion.
Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour will be possible under
the heaviest squalls.

to 6 inches today. An additional 10 to 20 inches is possible
Sunday through Tuesday morning. This would bring the storm total
snowfall for this event to 4 to 5 feet.
* WHERE...Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, and Lake Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are
expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially
life-threatening. Travel is impossible and should be postponed.
The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and
evening commutes, especially along the I-90 corridor.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy lake effect snow is expected to
continue into Tuesday morning with snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches
per hour. The highest accumulations are expected along the I-90
corridor and north with totals quickly decreasing to the south.
There is a potential for a brief lull in snowfall this evening
into the overnight hours as the heaviest band pushes north over
Lake Erie before returning on Sunday. The warning will continue
through this lull to account for the ongoing significant impacts
and the likelihood of continued blowing snow.

the northern portion of the county where the most snow has already
fallen and winds may result in blowing snow and locally reduced
