...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS
EVENING TO NOON CST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal
flooding up to 1 foot above normally dry ground expected. For
the second Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding of 1
to 2 feet above normally dry ground expected.
* WHERE...Low lying coastal areas outside of any hurricane
protection levee systems in Southeast Louisina and Southern
Mississippi.
* WHEN...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, from 6 PM this
evening to 6 AM CST Monday. For the second Coastal Flood
Advisory, from 6 PM Monday to noon CST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
