'Somewhere to call home': Temporary villages are helping ease rise in Canadian encampments

The City of Thunder Bay, Ont., is looking to join a growing number of Canadian municipalities — which include Kitchener and Peterborough in Ontario, as well as Vancouver — in creating temporary structures to support people experiencing homelessness, including those turning to encampments.
