This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.
.DAY ONE...Through the rest of the night.
Thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall are possible, mainly east.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
There is a slight chance of thunderstorms Friday into Friday night.
Thunderstorms are also possible at times Sunday through Tuesday.
Heavy rain may accompany the showers and storms at times Thursday
through Sunday. The greatest risk is Thursday night into Friday,
especially over the Cumberland drainage basin. This will be due to
the remnants of tropical system Helene moving north over Kentucky.
Helene could also bring winds gusts above 40 mph at times from
Thursday night through Friday.
