FOR SOUTHWESTERN PORTAGE COUNTY...
At 553 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Kent, or near
Ravenna, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect damage to
trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include...
Ravenna, Kent, Tallmadge, Streetsboro, Brimfield, Brady Lake, and
Sugar Bush Knolls.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
