Wabash River at New Harmony.
.A slow rise continues on the Wabash River due to recent heavy rain.
The level at New Harmony is forecast to crest 0.7 feet above flood
stage Friday morning.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

- At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.7 feet
tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
