FOR WEST CENTRAL JACKSON AND NORTHERN ROCKCASTLE COUNTIES...
At 947 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Climax, or 8
miles northeast of Mount Vernon, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of west
central Jackson and northern Rockcastle Counties, including the
following locations... Brodhead.
