SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM EDT...
At 244 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Gray Hawk, or near McKee, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
McKee, Olin, Egypt, Green Hall, Zekes Point, Maulden, Herd, Mummie,
Tyner, Privett, Bradshaw, High Knob, Elian, Mildred, Gray Hawk,
Settle Store, Welchburg, Atkinstown, Nathanton, and Annville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
