OCDSB says staff will attend Pride parade but advises students sit it out for 'safety' reasons

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) has a new explanation for a recent decision on participating in this summer’s Capital Pride parade, saying two years of "political activism and unplanned disruptions" have triggered worries about student safety.   Parade organizers say the event will be safe and secure.
