...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM SATURDAY TO 7 AM EST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
  between 5 and 10 inches, with the greatest accumulations across
  eastern Cuyahoga County, southern Lake County, inland Ashtabula
  County and much of Geauga County. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, Cuyahoga, Geauga,
  and Lake Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Saturday to 7 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult with periods of sharply
  reduced visibility and snow covered roads due to lake effect snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow will favor northern
  portions of the area closer to Lake Erie late Saturday afternoon
  and Saturday evening, before shifting inland and favoring southern
  portions of the area away from Lake Erie late Saturday night
  through Sunday night. Snow rates may reach 1 inch per hour in snow
  bands Saturday evening and night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

  between 6 and 14 inches, with the greatest accumulations across
  southern Erie County. Total accumulations near Lake Erie,
  including the city of Erie, are expected to be in the 6 to 10 inch
  range.

* WHERE...Crawford, Northern Erie, and Southern Erie Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Saturday to 7 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult with periods of sharply
  reduced visibility and snow covered roads due to lake effect snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow will favor Erie County
  through Saturday afternoon, including I-90 and locations closer to
  the Lake Erie shoreline. Snow will shift inland into Crawford
  County late Saturday through early Monday, with lesser
  accumulations along and north of I-90 during the second portion of
  the event. Snow rates may reach 1 inch per hour in snow bands late
  Saturday and Saturday night.

  night within lake effect snow bands.

* WHERE...Lorain, Medina, Portage, Summit, and Trumbull Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Saturday to 7 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult due to periods of slick and
  snow covered roads along with reduced visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A clipper will bring a general snowfall
  accumulation to the area late Saturday afternoon and evening. Lake
  effect snow develops late Saturday night and continues into Sunday
  night before ending. Localized higher amounts may occur Sunday
  into Sunday night with lake effect snow bands. This may prompt an
  upgrade to a Lake Effect Snow Warning for a portion of the area.

  night through Sunday.
