Not too often we get a September that starts off as dry as this
week will be but alas here we are. Dry northwesterly to westerly
flow will remain in place for most of the forecast with a rather
stout upper trough firmly planted across the eastern US. Rain
chances likely do not return until late next weekend into early
next week as this pattern finally breaks down. Until then the
forecast will mainly be a temperature forecast with highs
starting off in the upper 80s and slowly climbing into the mid 90s
by the end of the week as the upper trough slowly breaks down.
With drier air in place, dewpoints will remain lower keeping
overnight night lows "cooler" and afternoon heat indices in
check. Overall cannot complain about this forecast. BB-8 &&

A light to moderate easterly flow persists through Today. A light
diurnal flow returns for Wednesday evening through the weekend with
onshore flow during the afternoon into evening hours and offshore
flow late overnight into the morning hours each day. Small craft
should exercise caution over the open gulf waters tonight through
Tuesday morning. BB-8
