This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
High heat and humidity could persist today, mainly across southern
Kentucky, where heat index values could reach 100 before clouds and
precipitation break the heat.
Scattered thunderstorms this afternoon into tonight could bring
frequent lightning, locally gusty winds, and heavy rainfall.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
Thunderstorms today will initially move to the east at 15 to 20 mph.
Any users of this storm motion must be aware that thunderstorm
activity can be erratic and constantly evolving. Please use this with
caution and be prepared for changing conditions.
