ROCKCASTLE COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM EDT...
At 210 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles northwest of Bee Lick to near Science
Hill to Hogue. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Science Hill, Bee Lick, Stab, Bobtown, Gum Sulphur, Pointer, Bandy,
Quail, Ottowa, Woodstock, Spiro, Dabney, Valley Oak, Willailla,
Bromo, Hogue, Level Green, Indian Lakes Park, Pulaski, and Brodhead.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
