...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN LAUREL...
SOUTHEASTERN PULASKI...CENTRAL MCCREARY AND NORTHWESTERN WHITLEY
COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM EDT...

At 442 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Beulah Heights, or near Whitley City, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Whitley City, Honeybee, Marshes Siding, Greenwood, Duckrun, Parkers
Lake, Beulah Heights, Cumberland Falls S.P., Clio, Huxley, Walden,
Krupp, Youngs Creek, Bark Camp, Wiborg, Deering, Stearns, and Pine
Knot.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
