.SYNOPSIS...
Strong Canadian high pressure will remain in control of the
weather into Saturday. Another cold front will drop across the
region by Saturday night followed by high pressure Sunday into
early next week.

&&

.NEAR TERM /THROUGH SATURDAY/...
Very quiet weather is expected today through Saturday with high
pressure in control over the Great Lakes region. A northeast
flow 5 to 10 knots will keep temperatures below average today.
Despite sunshine today, high temperatures will be in the upper
50s to lower 60s. With clear skies and lighter winds,
temperatures will drop off into the middle 30s over NWPA and
NEOH away from the lakeshore. We have issued a Frost Advisory
for most of NEOH and NWPA for Friday night into early Saturday
morning. Elsewhere, low temperatures will be in the upper 30s
to around 40 degrees over north central and northwest Ohio. More
sunshine is on the way for Saturday with high temperatures in
the middle 60s over NWPA and upper 60s for NEOH. High
temperatures will warm into the lower 70s over NWOH on Saturday.

&&

.SHORT TERM /SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT/...
Quiet weather continues through the short term period as surface
high pressure remains over the region. A weak and dry cold front
will sag across Lake Erie on Saturday night before high pressure re-
enters by Sunday before exiting to the east through Monday.

Overnight lows on Saturday night will settle in the 40s areawide.
Highs on Sunday range between the mid 60s across Northeast Ohio and
Northwest Pennsylvania to the mid 70s across the I-75 corridor. Lows
in the upper 40s to lower 50s Sunday night before highs rebound into
the upper 70s on Monday. Some spots may reach or exceed 80 degrees
on Monday mainly along the I-75 corridor.

&&

.LONG TERM /TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY/...
Dry weather comes to an end as low pressure enters the Lower
Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic Regions from the Lower Mississippi
Valley. Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase from the
south early Tuesday morning with slight chance to chance PoPs in
place for much of the forecast area through Thursday as the low
slowly moves along the Atlantic coast. High temperatures will
gradually warm through the long term period with highs in the
mid 70s on Tuesday rising to the low/mid 80s by Thursday.

&&

.AVIATION /06Z Friday THROUGH Tuesday/...
Mostly VFR conditions are expected for this TAF period. There
may be a few hours of MVFR ceilings around MFD and CLE through
10z this morning. Mostly clear to fair weather skies are
expected over the next 24 hours with high pressure in control.
North to northeast winds of 5-12 knots are expected today. Wind
will become light and variable after 00z this evening.

Outlook...VFR is expected through Monday. Non-VFR possible in
showers on Tuesday.

&&

.MARINE...
Northerly flow 10 to 15 knots decreases below 10 knots while
becoming variable as high pressure continues to build overhead.
High pressure remains overhead with offshore flow expected
through Saturday. A weak cold front will sag across Lake Erie
Saturday night which will allow for onshore winds 10-15 knots to
return. As high pressure exits to the east and the cold front
sinks south, winds turn southerly on Sunday and will remain
offshore through the period. Marine headlines are not expected
through the middle of next week.
