SOUTHWESTERN ELLIOTT COUNTIES THROUGH 1030 PM EDT...
At 952 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lower Spencer, or near Mount Sterling, moving east at 65 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Zag, Clay Lick, Owingsville, Ramey, Levee, Morehead, Wyoming,
Cornwell, Elliottville, Peasticks, Rothwell, Olympia Springs, Yale,
Triplett, Flat Creek, Christy, Hilda, Bourbon Furnace, Sharkey, and
Bangor.
THIS INCLUDES Interstate 64 in eastern Kentucky between mile markers
105 and 148.
