* At 532 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Columbus,
moving northeast at 80 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Flat Rock, Milford, Adams, St. Paul, Glenwood, Waldron, Geneva,
Clifford, Moscow, Rushville, Milroy, New Salem, Edinburgh,
Sandusky, Hope, Taylorsville, and Columbus.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 70 and 82.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 118 and 131.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM EDT for central and
south central Indiana.
