Their daughter was kicked in the chest by a horse. New equipment meant a CHEO nurse could care for her in a helicopter.

The CHEO critical care transport team recently upgraded their equipment so they can now care for children up to 88 pounds. Addy Myers was one of the first patients to benefit from the new technology.
