            estimated to be at least 6 inches of water
            flowing across Highway 460 at 11695 Main St
            in Jeffersonville, KY just to the west of
            the Menifee/Montgomery county line in
            Montgomery county.

            A weather service employee called to report
            that water from Brush Creek was flowing over
            Main Street near the car lot in Clay City
            near exit 16.

            A member of the Lexington, KY news media
            posted a picture on Facebook of flooding
            near Clay City. Water was completely
            covering the Mountain Parkway near the Clay
            City overpass.

            Water was observed flowing across Hwy 1274
            and Main St in Frenchburg and also over Hwy
            460 in Means. These roads were not
            completely closed, but the Menifee County
            Highway Dept did have to put up barricades
            to keep folks from driving into the flooded
            parts of the roads.

            directed to use alternate route.

            Delayed, Post-Survey Report. Multiple trees
            were snapped along Big Cave Road (KY-1004),
            with their trunks blown uniformly to the
            south. This appears to be related to a Rear
            Flank Downdraft surge ahead of tornado
            genesis. Scattered tree damage started at
            the intersection of Big Cave Road and Salt
            Peter Road. The straight-line wind damage
            ended at Red Hill Road (KY-1955).

            confirms EF-1 tornado damage near the Island

            thunderstorm winds. Time estimated as
            approximately the same time as the
            Whitesburg, KY Mesonet reported a 53 mph
            gust. The mesonet station is approximately
            160 to 170 feet from the site of the
            destroyed home.
